Brady's journey in the amusement industry began at a young age as a ride attendant at Knoebels Amusement Resort, where he quickly developed a deep passion for the craft—what some might call getting "sawdust in his blood." While pursuing a degree in Physics and Mathematics, he transitioned into a full-time role within Knoebels' maintenance department, where his hands-on experience and engineering mindset flourished.
As the park's design engineer, Brady had the unique opportunity to learn from industry legends, gaining invaluable insights that shaped his approach to ride restoration and innovation. His continuous growth and dedication to the field eventually led him to partner with "Buddy" Carl, forming a collaboration built on expertise and shared vision.
Now serving as the Engineering Director at Precision, Brady is responsible for designing the components and ride profiles that drive the company’s renowned restoration efforts. Beyond design, he plays a pivotal role in coordinating specialized project support networks—essential for executing the intricate and often highly niche tasks required in amusement ride restoration. His expertise and leadership ensure that each project not only preserves history but also meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

With over 40 years of experience in business leadership, Buddy has built and managed several very successful construction-based companies. His transition into the amusement industry was more than just a career shift—it was a passion realized. From the moment he began working on wooden roller coasters, he knew there was no turning back.
For Buddy, wooden coasters are more than just rides; they are living pieces of history, blending craftsmanship, engineering, and nostalgia in a way no other structure can. His keen eye for their beauty and his deep respect for their legacy make him an invaluable leader in the industry.
As Precision’s lead foreman, Buddy oversees crews stationed at various job sites, ensuring each project is completed with the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
